I think this method of presenting in class could be very entertaining. No matter what points you were trying to get across you could do it. And it is not boring. A few tips; you must be careful not to go to crazy because it can make someone motion sick. You need to be careful not to overdo it on a prezi, too much info might be confusing. It can overload you with too much info so reviewing a lot of info every couple slides would be good. There are so many things a prezi can do you need to really play with it to use it to its full potential.

Tips for using PowerPoint... Keep the pages simple, you don't want too much clutter so that the readers won't focus on the subject of your PowerPoint. Keep the font easy to read. After doing my PowerPoint I learned that you can use scrolling bullets which would have been good for mine so I could do one direction at a time. Don't use too many or too few slides.

I would love to use a webquest in my class. Some tips... make sure it is not too difficult for the age group you are giving the lesson to. Make sure you have had someone give it a trial test for you. Make sure all your websites go properly to the pages they are intended to go to. Make sure all your students have access to a computer before assigning a webquest.

Cell Phones
I want to know how you feel about cell phones in the classroom. I have seen classes where the teacher requires the students to "check" in their cell phone at her desk, they just leave it on her desk as they walk into the classroom. I have also seen a class with no policy and the students were texting like crazy! How do you determine if they are looking up information or texting? What's your opinion and solution?
